Counselling and solution focused hypnotherapy are both types of talking therapy, and there is a considerable amount of overlap - both can be effective for issues such as anxiety and depression.
Counselling is more free ranging - the agenda is completely down to the client, and we can explore any issues you wish to bring. Solution focused hypnotherapy is more structured and therapist led, there is a strong emphasis on the positive aspects of life, and how you would like life to be going forward.

It is possible to mix and match - we can begin with counselling sessions, and later move on to hypnotherapy when you feel ready to take a more direct approach.
